The Indian National Lok Dal on Monday announced that it would observe a ‘Haryana Bandh’ on September 8 to press for early construction and completion of the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal and the Dadupur-Nalvi canal.
“We have decided to observe a Statewide bandh on September 8. We want early completion of the SYL and Dadupur-Nalvi canals,” said Abhay Singh Chautala, leader of the Opposition.
