Brahmapur Shiv Sena demands probe, submits memo

The Shiv Sena Brahmapur unit on Saturday submitted a memorandum to the Ganjam Sub-Collector demanding a probe into the irregularities in the desilting of drains and construction of roads in the Sindhi village under the Tata Colony here and action against the culprits. The residents of the village alleged that since two months, the water connection has been stopped knowingly in the village.  Even after informing the Tata officials, the issue is yet to be solved, they added.

They also mentioned that even if a sufficient amount of money is being provided for different programmes, the drains are not cleaned and the roads are not constructed.

The Shiv Sena also alleged that the district administration has failed to provide drinking water in the Jogiapalli village till date and demanded a probe into the matter and stringent action against the culprits.

Among others, party State VP Tyagi Balaram Das, district president Sanatan Choudhury, VP Jogendra Prasad, youth president P Tulsaya Reddy, Chhtrapur president Rajesh Maharana and Amit Maharana were present.
