Xavier School of Management (XLRI) organised the 9th edition of the Jamshedpur Run on Sunday. Hosted jointly by CII-Young Indians (Jamshedpur Chapter) and the Ensemble-Valhalla Core Team, this year’s edition of the run saw footfall of 1000 runners with participants coming from all walks of life.

School kids, college students, professors, professionals and many others turned up in large numbers on the cool Sunday morning and ran their hearts out. The roads turned to a sea of white with the runners donning the Jamshedpur Run T-shirts, and the spirit of Jamshedpur was a beautiful site to see!

Khela Soren, and Laxman Banra emerged as the winners in the non-school category of the run, whereas Lakhan Soren and Parvati Tudu were victorious in the Boys and Girls divisions of the School-category and endowed with cash prizes and certificates. The run lasted for roughly 60 minutes and at the end of it, the glorious finishers were treated with refreshments to mark the successful completion of the run.

XLRI always likes to be socially responsible, and mindful of its surroundings. And thus, it was ensured that the runners did not litter along the route, and the general public did not face any hardships as a result of our run.
