Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas engagement party on Saturday evening was as private as we expected it to be. However, thanks to Nick Jonas, we not only got to know that Priyanka Chopra danced like there was no tomorrow at her engagement bash but is also the perfect daughter-in-law.

The American singer shared photos and videos from the party that was attended by Alia Bhatt, Mukesh Ambani with wife Nita Ambani and daughter Isha, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vishal Bhardwaj, Parineeti Chopra, Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma and her husband Aayush Sharma. If the morning roka ceremony was all about tradition, the evening party hosted by Priyanka was all about family and some close friends.

The best moments were shared between Priyanka and Nick, and his parents Kevin Jonas Sr and Denise Jonas. Nick perhaps provided us with the sweetest moment from the party where fiance Priyanka and he can be seen kissing his parents. In another photo shared by the American singer, Nick’s dad can be seen with Priyanka’s uncle. Nick captioned the photo, “Papa Jonas and Bade Papa”.

Alia Bhatt, who was among the few Bollywood cekebs seen at the bash, also shared a photo with Priyanka Chopra, Mushtaq Shaikh and Arpita Khan Sharma on Instagram. While Priyanka chose a nude dress for the party and let her happy glow do the talking, Nick was also dressed down and in a mood to party. It was left to the two celebs’ mothers to bring in some razzmatazz. While Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra wore a white and gold saree, Nick’s mother Denise chose a pink saree.

Nick’s dad earlier welcomed Priyanka to their family, “So happy for the engagement of our son @nickjonas and we welcome @priyankachopra into our family with love and excitement.” Nick’s mother Denise wrote on Instagram, “I have found the one whom my heart loves” Song of Solomon 3:4 Congratulations @nickjonas @priyankachopra on your engagement. Welcome to the family!”

Priyanka and Nick formalised their whirlwind romance of three months with a traditional roka ceremony on Saturday morning. A puja was held at Priyanka’s residence which was attended by only her family and a group of close friends. Priyanka and Nick made their relationship official soon after on Instagram. While Nick introduced Priyanka as future Mrs Jonas, she said they have done it the right way, in the presence of God and family.
