Litigation Management System in Haryana

Chandigarh: Advocate General, Haryana Baldev Raj Mahajan has directed all the Nodal Officers (Litigation) in the state to get the complete data entered in the newly developed software (Litigation Management System) within a period of 30 days positively. A new website Litigation Management System (LMS) has been designed and developed by the office of Advocate General, Haryana with the aid and assistance of NIC Haryana. The data already uploaded or entered on earlier website namely Court Case Monitoring System (CCMS) has already been sunk and migrated in the newly developed LMS. However, it has been noticed that most of the departments and Nodal Officers-Litigation have not got entered their complete data on the website CCMS which needs to be immediately entered in the newly developed software LMS.

Medical Officer of Haryana Bhawan suspended

Chandigarh: Haryana Government has suspended a Senior Medical Officer, a Medical Officer and a pharmacist of Haryana Bhawan Dispensary, New Delhi, with immediate effect, for negligence in duty. A a spokesman of the Health Department said that these included Dr. Anil Aggarwal, Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Nitish Parwal, Medical Officer and A.S. Jindal, Pharmacist. It has also been decided to charge-sheet all three of them under Rule-7 of the Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 2016.

Capt condoles death of former Chief Secretary

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Saturday mourned the demise of former state Chief Secretary Hardev Singh Chhina (98). Chhina was married to Naresh Inder Kumari in 1940, the daughter of Raja Birinder Singh of Patiala, the step younger brother of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh, who was the grandfather of Capt Amarinder Singh. Chhina is survived by a son Paramdev Singh Chhina, the former Additional Advocate General of Punjab, and four daughters Guninder Kaur, Parveen Kaur, Jatinder Kaur and Neenu Manshahia. He was an Alumni of the prestigious Aitchison College, Lahore.  After serving in the Patiala State, the 1950 batch IAS officer had served with dedication and professional commitment on various key posts, including Commissioner of the Punjab Hill Area, and administrator of Tripuri and Rajpura township in the undivided Punjab, besides Secretary Vigilance, Chairman Punjab Financial Corporation, Financial Commissioner Revenue and Finance Secretary, before his elevation as Chief Secretary in 1974 – a post on which he served till 1977.

Shraddhanjali Sabhas in memory of Vajpayee

Chandigarh:  Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the State Government has decided to organize ‘Shraddhanjali Sabhas’ across the state on August 19, to pay homage to the former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which will also be participated by social and religious  organizations. The government has also decided to name a big project after the name of the great leader, he said.

Himachal CM announces Rs. 5 crore to Kerala

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Saturday announced that the state government would provide financial assistance of rupees five crore to the flood-hit Kerala state. The Chief Minister said that it was grave situation in Kerala due to floods and the entire nation was with the people of the state in this hour of distress. He expressed hope that situation would soon normalise and flood affected people would be rehabilitated by the Kerala government on top priority.
