The sixth edition of Construction Architecture and Interior (CAI) Expo-2018, being organised at Hitex by The Hindu Business Line in association with ads and events group up to August 19, got under way here on Friday with participation from diverse set of companies and solutions providers.
Arun Luharuka, President of Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated the much-awaited annual exhibition that brings together industry players from the construction, architecture and interior fields.
Talking of the rapid strides Hyderabad and the construction industry has been making in Telangana and south India, Mr. Luharuka said, “The city has already emerged as one of the fastest growing markets and the availability of large parcels of land around the city and huge infrastructure development, including the Outer Ring Road and the International Airport, has made it an attractive destination.”
Showcasing the range of construction equipment and their versatility, Manjunth S, General Manager of Doosan Bobcat India, the title sponsor of the event said, “the company is looking at rapidly expanding its business.” Explaining the advantages of some of the excavators, he said “they have already been deployed in some of the construction sites.”
Prime uPVC showcased its windows and construction blocks and Sintex brought together a wide range of products from its portfolio, including water storage tanks, disposal bins, and rooftop/wall panels and K-Lite and Svarochi showcased their lighting solutions.
For the participants, it is an opportunity to demo their products to the visitors and explain their advantages, pricing as also solutions.
