Bhopal :
A 15-year-old girl, who left home after being scolded by her parents, was held captive and raped by a youth for 20 days.
According to Chola Mandir SHO Yogendra Kumar Yadav, the complainant is a resident of Chola Mandir area and was well acquainted with accused, Shanu Khan (20).
Yadav said that the girl after leaving her house met the accused, who took her on his two-wheeler and they reached a house located at Shankar Nagar where the accused raped her and then they moved to some other places where he raped her again.
The girl also told the police that she had gone to Agra with the accused but it could not be confirmed by the SHO.
She reached the city on Friday and narrated her tale to parents, who took her to police station where a case was filed.
Yadav further said that the accused was booked under Sections 363, 366, 376 376 (N) (2) of the IPC and sections 3 and 4 of the POCSO Act.
Meanwhile, in another incident a 19-year-old girl filed a rape complaint against her step-father in Habibganj police station, on Saturday.
According to SHO Virendra Singh Chouhan, the complainant’s mother remarried the accused and they live near BDA Colony.
Chouhan said that the 40-year-old accused had been raping her for over two years and when the girl informed her mother about rape, they approached a social worker.
Later, a team of social workers along with the victim reached the police station where a case was filed against the accused.
