Mumbai: A jumbo block and a mega block will be conducted on Sunday on the Western line, Central line and Harbour line on Sunday.
During the jumbo block, trains on the fast and slow lines on the Western Railway will be affected. The fast trains between Borivali and Andheri will run on slow lines from 10.35 am to 2.35 pm.
On the Central Railway, slow and semi-fast services leaving Kalyan from 10:48 am to 4:14 pm will be diverted on the fast track between Kalyan and Mulund stations. The trains will halt at all stations. Trains will be further re-diverted on the slow line at Mulund station. Fast trains leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) from 10:05 am to 2:54 pm will halt at Ghatpokar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts. These trains will reach their destination 15 minutes behind the scheduled time.
The slow trains will not be available at Thakurli, Kopar, Mumbra and Kalwa railway stations. Passengers at these stations will be able travel via Thane, Diva, Dombivali and Kalyan stations.
Harbour line services to Panvel, Belapur and Vashi leaving from CSMT between 10:34 am to 3:39 pm will be affected. Those trains leaving for CSMT and Wadala Road from Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 10:21 am to 3:41pm will remain suspended.
However, special local trains will run on CSMT-Kurla and Vashi-Panvel sections during the block period. Harbour Line passengers are also permitted to travel via Trans-Harbour/Main Line from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.
