After the hush-hush engagement, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas are all set to take their relationship a step ahead with the formal engagement party at PeeCee's residence. What began as a small interaction at MET Gala 2017 has blossomed into a beautiful relationship. Nick Jonas and his parents have already arrived in Mumbai for the family get-together. Earlier, Priyanka even visited Singapore to attend Jonas' concert. Videos of PeeCee cheering for her beau were seen on social media.
Dwayne Johnson took the credit of bringing Priyanka and Nick close after he learnt that both of them are dating. In an interview, Johnson said, "I did it, yes. If they're happy. Well then, I take credit. Baywatch and Jumanji," he added. The actor has worked with Priyanka in Baywatch and with Jonas in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
Priyanka and Nick want to keep the complete affair absolutely private. Reportedly, they won't even pose for the media during their engagement party. Several Bollywood celebrities are expected to grace the grand bash. A day before their roka on August 18, the duo were spotted on a dinner date. The lovebirds didn't shy away from paparazzi and were seen walking hand-in-hand. Jonas was also papped stealing glances of her ladylove. Cute, isn't it?

After meeting for the first time at Met Gala 2017, they made no public appearances together until a couple of months back. In past few months, the lovebirds have been spotted on dinner dates, yacht party, airports and at several other places. They also went for a vacation in London, where Jonas popped up the question before PeeCee on her 36th birthday. Priyanka even attended the wedding of Nick's cousin in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Parineeti Chopra and close friend Mustaq Sheikh were also papped outside the venue in traditional attire. The Quantico actress wants the entire wedding to be very secretive and traditional. Nick proposed PeeCee on her 36th birthday on 18 July in London, where the couple was vacationing and exactly after a month, the duo will exchange rings amidst their friends and families, following which an engagement party will be hosted at the residence. Priyanka will be wearing a gown most probably by Manish Malhotra. The function has been held at Priyanka's Juhu residence, which has already been decked up. A report in Pinkvilla claims that post-roka lunch included Punjabi cuisines such as Dal Makhni and Butter Chicken as Jonas loved these two and wants his parents to try them too.

At many incidents, Priyanka tried to hide her ring from shutterbugs. The actress was spotted at Delhi airport a few weeks before, however, before making an exit, PeeCee made sure to take out the ring and keep it inside her pocket. However, her huge engagement ring was revealed when an inside picture from Manish Malhotra's bash started doing the rounds on social media. The photo posted by Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon had Priyanka Chopra along with her. Both the actress captured a selfie while pouting and it was then her diamond ring on her left hand came to the notice.
The huge rock on Priyanka Chopra's finger is a ''high-quality cushion cut weighing around 4 carats. It looks to be somewhere around a G color, VS1 clarity which, from Tiffany & Co, would have a value of around $200,000,'' reported E!Online. Reportedly, Jonas shut down the store to buy the ring for his ladylove in private.
According to Mumbai Mirror report, Nick will fly out of India soon after the engagement, whereas Priyanka will start the shooting of Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink.

As Nick Jonas proposed Priyanka on her birthday, it is speculated the lovebirds will tie the knot on September 16, which is Nick's birthday. Well, it will be a double celebration for both the families. So far, there has been no information about the wedding venue but most probably, it will be held at PeeCee's residence.
