Lok Shakti opposes Chilika aerodrome

The Lok Shakti Abhiyan would oppose the proposed water aerodrome project in Chilika lake, said Green Nobel prize winner and environmentalist Prafulla Samantara in a Press meet held here.

Samantara said the organisation would unite and organise the fishermen living on the Chilika coast to protest against the project that would affect their livelihood.

He also said he has written a letter to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik urging him to take steps to stop implementation of the aerodrome project in the Chilika lake.
