Man dies in motorcycle accident near Nambour

A 35-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash at Nambour on Thursday evening.

Queensland Police said initial investigations showed the man was driving north on Carter Road about 10pm when his motorcycle collided with a ute travelling south.

The man died at the scene.

No one else was injured in the crash, and the Forensic Crash Unit was investigating.
