Construction Company Shapoorji-Palonji has imported it from abroad, which will reach Bhopal within 15 days. To set up this heavy glass, the 100 ton weighing crane is ready to be called from Indore. The glass inside the Chief Minister’s office will be normal.
Corporate Style: CM’s office, built on the 5th floor of the new building, is 40 thousand square feet. There is a meeting room adjacent to the CM’s chamber. After the exit there will be an open area of 5000 square feet. The date for entering the new building of CM is not fixed at the moment.
The glasses that are fitted now will be removed: Ministry sources say that the glasses that are currently fitted will be removed. These glasses were fitted before safety audits. Security audit has been done recently by the Police Headquarters. After their suggestion, the practice of applying bullet proof glasses began.
The construction firm wants to complete the construction of new ministry by September 15. This building, which is built in corporate style, is probably the most expensive in MP, costing more than Rs 615 crores.
The Chief Minister’s office is being constructed of 40 thousand square feet (about one acre). The total area under construction is close to 6 lakh square feet.
