Salman Khan started the shooting of Bharat in Malta, after completing the first schedule in Mumbai. Although, the actor has shared the teaser of Bharat on social media account on Independence Day. Producer of the film Nikhil Namit has shared a picture of Salman Khan’s vanity van, from the sets of Malta on his Instagram handle.
The two pictures of the van show the exterior and interior – which is plush with comfy couches, a kitchen counter and an en suite bathroom. Apart from Salman, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi have a pivotal role in Bharat.
Before Katrina, Priyanka Chopra was roped in to play the female lead, but her sudden exit from the film was a shocker for director and producer Namit. In fact, it was Namit who described her departure as ‘unprofessional’ even as his star said that he wishes her well for the future.
Earlier, Director Ali Abbas Zafar provided the details about Bharat, a drama that will be set across several decades and will feature Salman in five different looks. “The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus like Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks which will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts. This is Salman and Disha’s introduction. He plays a daredevil stunt motorcyclist in the circus while she is a trapeze artiste,” he had told Mumbai Mirror.
