Atal Bihari Vajpayee funeral: LK Advani pays last respect to former PM
Source: Times NowSenior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani paid last respects to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Smriti Sthal in Delhi. The two leaders are credited with building the BJP from scratch, and both worked in close cooperation for over 6 decades. The mortal remains of Atal Bihari Vajpayee were consigned to flames at Smriti Sthal in the capital amid thousands of mourners. Prominent national leaders including President Ramnath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, BJP chief Amit Shah and Congress president Rahul Gandhi were also present.
