Harman launches JBL Xtreme 2 portable Bluetooth speaker at Rs 21,999

Harman International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, has expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of JBL Xtreme 2 portable speaker. The speaker is priced at Rs 21,999 and comes in three colour options -- Midnight Black, Forest Green and Ocean Blue.
The new speaker is successor to the company's JBL Xtreme speakers range. It incorporates noise and echo-cancelling speakerphone that allows users to make clearer calls.
The speaker’s Bluetooth streaming capability supports upto two connections simultaneously. It also supports wireless connection between more than 100 Connect+ enabled JBL speakers using the JBL+ Connect feature.
The JBL Xtreme 2 is IPX7-rated making it fully waterproof and is claimed by the company to be usable beneath water as well. The speaker features 3D bass radiators and upgraded drivers for improved sound output.
The speaker is powered by a built-in rechargeable 10,000mAh Li-ion battery. The company says that the device’s battery can support up to 15 hours of playtime. It also features a USB charging port, enabling users to charge their smartphone or tablet.
The speaker is available on the company’s website and other online and retail stores across the country.
