Gold actor Amit Sadh thanks 'captain of the ship' Reema Kagti, shares picture

Bollywood actor Amit Sadh, who recently appeared in Akshay Kumar starrer Gold said that director Reema Kagti always motivated him to give a better shot.

Amit, took to social media to share a photograph of himself along with Kagti and wrote, ''Thank you Reema Kagti, the captain of the ship for directing me with love and patience. You always pushed me to give a better shot, to be a better Raghubir and I can't thank you enough for it. My biggest victory from 'Gold' is making a friend like you who I'll have for the rest of my life''.

So another beautiful, challenging, motivating journey, full of learning and excitement has come to an end.. Or another way to see this is a new beginning because GOLD is out in the universe and I hope all my fans and everyone who watches the film enjoys it. First and foremost, I want to thank you @reemakagti1, the captain of the ship for these two beautiful years and for directing me with so much love, patience and never letting me pass by an incorrect beat, whether you were losing light on the day or when it was an expensive location. You always pushed me to give a better shot, to be a better Raghubir and I can't thank you enough for it. Gold, a historical sports drama, is inspired by India's first Olympic gold medal as a free nation in 1948. It traces the golden era of Indian hockey through the journey of Tapan Das, a young assistant manager, who dreamt of winning Olympic gold medal as an independent nation.

The film also features Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal, Vineet Kumar Singh and Mouni Roy among others. The movie, which released on Independence Day has minted Rs 27 crores on its first day.
