Vicky makes his singing debut

Actor Vicky Kaushal marked his singing debut with the song, F se Fyaar, which will be featured in director Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming musical love story Manmarziyaan. The film's music is composed by Amit Trivedi. The song went on to cross 7 million views in less than eight hours. Talking about the idea, music director Amit Trivedi said, “Since Vicky plays a DJ in the movie, we felt it would be great if he could sing a few lines in the song to give a real feel to it. It has come out well. When he heard the song, he was pleasantly surprised to hear his voice. He enjoyed the singing process.” Vicky said, “I am very excited and I have told this to Anurag as well, but I feel like I should collaborate with him once in every two-three years because he really makes you reinvent yourself as an actor, which I feel is very important for me. Each time I work with him, I see something new in myself and that’s what happened in Manmarziyaan as well.”

‘It's (Manikarnika: Queen Of Jhansi) an iconic role. I trained a lot in sword fights and horse-riding. After riding the horse for two days, I got fever. I can only imagine the strength and nerves of steel that Laxmibai had. I am nowhere close to it.’
