Court frames bribery charges against Jindal in coal case

A special court here on Thursday framed an additional charge of abetment to bribery against industrialist and senior and others in a coal block allocation case.

The (CBI) formally framed the charges against the accused.

After the accused pleaded not guilty and claimed trial, the court listed the matter for August 31 for further hearing.

The court will formally frame charges against former on August 31 as he was not present in the court on Thursday.

On April 29, 2016, the court had ordered framing of charges against the former and others under various sections -- criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, cheating and criminal misconduct. But it had not included bribery charges.
