Salman Khan to don the role of a peon and desi man in Bigg Boss 12 promos

Bigg Boss 12 is all set to surprise its fans with loads of exciting content this time, too. The first promo of the upcoming season saw Salman Khan, the host and heart of the TV reality show, as a teacher, and is already getting numerous likes. Now, the fans can look forward to two more promos, which will see Salman donning these avatars — a peon and a desi man.

The upcoming promos will also have Salman describing the concept of Vichitra jodis (unusual couples) — anyone from a mother and daughter, master and maid, brother and sister, uncle and nephew — like the first promo. And, Salman will bring all his quirkiness to make these promos exciting.

“Salman was very excited [while] shooting for the promo, and he finished shooting all three in just one day. He used his quirk to improvise not just the dance steps but also his lines for the promos. From being a teacher to a peon to a desi man, he enjoyed every bit of the process. He was having a lot of fun while dancing and singing during the shoot,” says a source close to the show.

And not just the Bollywood actor, it looks like his entire family is looking forward to the show. The day when the Dabangg actor was shooting the promos back-to-back, his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma — who is making his Bollywood debut with Loveratri — dropped in to cheer him. “Aayush was excited [about BB 12] and also anxious about his upcoming launch. He had come to meet Salman, to take his guidance and plan [promotion of his film],” the source added.

Meanwhile, the final list of contestants will be out a day before the show goes on air on September 16. And it’s said that this time too, there will be a mix of celebrities and commoners.

Speculations are rife that this season will have model-actor Milind Soman and his wife Ankita Konwar, actor Mahika Sharma and porn star Danny D, actors Gurmeet Choudhary and wife Debina Bonnerjee, actor-comedian Ssumier S Pasricha, actor Param Singh (of TV show Ghulam fame), MTV Splitsvilla contestant Scarlett Rose and friend Ryan Peterson, and Instagram stars MNV and Simran Bhola will also be a possible couple.

There will be a total of 14 contestants, which will be divided in seven couples. SpotboyE.com reported that the commoners list could include two gay partners, a saas-bahu jodi, twin sisters, a sex-worker, a bar dancer, and a transgender.
