Report: Trump's Military Parade is Estimated to Cost $92 Million

President Trump’s planned a military parade in DC and it’s reportedly going to cost close to $100 Million dollars.??????The Department of Defense’s latest cost estimate includes $50 million from the Pentagon and $42 million from interagency partners, which adds up to a total estimate of $92 million dollars.??That’s according to a new CNBC report.??????The money is reportedly going to go towards, security, transportation of parade assets, aircraft and temporary duty for troops. ????The recent estimate is a lot larger than previous estimates.

CNN reported that it would cost close to $12 million, citing US defense officials.??????According to the Hill, democrats and republicans on both sides of the aise think the military parade might look “totalitarian.”????GOP Senator John Kennedy said, “I think confidence is silent and insecurity is loud,” in reference to the Parade.

Going on to say we are not North Korea, Russia or China.??????A pentagon spokesperson told CNBC that the Defense Department will make a formal announcement about the cost soon. ??????The Hill reports, Trump was apparently inspired by the french Bastille Day parade to hold the event--which is planned for Nov. 10th. ??
