Nagpur: Flaying the Union Ministry of Ayush, the Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court on Thursday sought reply on when it would be reconducting the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) for the petitioner students, who appeared from Nextech Infotech centre in the city.
A division bench comprising justices Bhushan Dharmadhikari and Zaka Haq then adjourned the hearing till Monday where it would be listed at 10.30am.

The court was hearing a plea (WP No. 4189/2018) by aggrieved student Kishor Sonawane and others through counsel Anup Dhore, who alleged mismanagement and use of unfair means at the entrance test held on June 26 at Nextech Infotech, where over 400 students appeared.

Earlier, assistant solicitor general Ulhas Aurangabadkar informed that the decision on re-examination would be finalized by the committee, which couldn’t meet due to short notice. He sought time till Monday to make a definite statement.

He, however, informed that decision was taken to proceed against the examinees for use of unfair means and also against those found loitering or discussing with each other during exam. The petitioners, however, opposed his demand.

Earlier, the judges observed that the agency conducting AIAPGET was under obligation to furnish full CCTV surveillance footage. They criticized the ministry for not informing them that CCTV footage for entire examination or even for entire hall /centre is unavailable. The respondents claimed that the hard disk got corrupt and data was retrieved by sending it to experts in Mumbai on July 11.
