Contract worker to become members of indcoserve

Rakesh Kumar, CMD (Additional Charge) in his Independencce Day speech announced that 1000 Contract Workmen working under various contractors in NLCIL will be made members of Industrial Co-operative Service (INDCOSERVE) Society of Tamil Nadu, which has been providing manpower to NLCIL.

NHPC celebrates Independence Day

NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Enterprise of the Government of India celebrated India’s 72st Independence Day with great fervour and enthusiasm on 15th August 2018. The celebration began with the unfurling of National flag and singing of National Anthem at NHPC Office Complex, Faridabad. Speaking on the occasion, Balraj Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC extended his greetings to the entire NHPC family and said that we must remember the great sacrifices made by our freedom fighters because of whom we are free on Wednesday.

NDMC Chairperson unfurls Flag  at NDMC Headquarters

Agri Min Radha Mohan Meets Foreign Min of Moldova

Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Radha Mohan Singh met Tudor Ulianovschi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova in Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi on Wednesday and called for strengthening traditional ties between the two countries by promoting closer cooperation in the agriculture sector. The Minister reiterated India's tremendous progress in the agriculture sector and the commitment to double farmers' income by 2022 through a series of reforms, namely Soil Health Card, organic farming, crop insurance, irrigation, e-NAM etc.

NMDC Bacheli Complex bags award

NMDC Bailadila Iron Ore Mine, Bacheli Complex has been awarded 'Tata Steel Mining Sustainability Award' for the year 2017-18 by Federation of Mineral Industries (FIMI) for outstanding work in sustainability. For the first time FIMI has introduced sustainability award for mining industries of India. NMDC Bacheli complex is the first recipient of the award. Arun Kumar Shukla, Executive Director, Bacheli Complex received the award from Union Minister of Mines & Panchayati Raj, Narendra Singh Tomar at the award ceremony conducted during 52nd AGM of FIMI held at New Delhi on Wednesday.
