Members of the Hindu Vahini, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Go Rakshana Samithi stopped a DCM illegally transporting cows on the NH-65 here on Tuesday evening.
The vehicle loaded with about 25 cows was handed over to the police. The police are also on the lookout for another four such vehicles carrying cows. According to them, the vehicle had started from Srikakulam, where the cows were bought. They were allegedly being transported to Hyderabad.
