‘Swadhinta Parv’ at Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium today

To mark the 72nd Independence Day, Directorate of Swaraj Sansthan is organising a musical concert ‘Swadhinta Parv’ at Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium today.

A noted Bollywood playback singer and mimicry artist,  Sudesh Bhosle will mark his presence in the concert.

He will present patriotic songs before the Bhopalites, remembering the sacrifice of the martyrs and other freedom fighters. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Minister of Culture, Madhya Pradesh Surendra Singh Patwa will also be present during the concert.

Sudesh Bhosle got his first major break in playback singing in the film Zalzala (1988). He used mimicry to become a professional dubbing artist for several artists like Sanjeev Kumar and Anil Kapoor.  He actually dubbed for Sanjeev Kumar when he died prematurely before completing the film Professor ki Padosan.

On this occasion, the renowned names of the country will be felicitated with the cash award of Rs two lakhs.

The awards include Amar Shahid Chandrashekhar Azad National Award, Maharshi Vedvas National Award and Maharaja Agrasen National Award instituted by Madhya Pradesh Government, Culture iDepartment. Amar Sudhir Vidyarthi Bareilly, Gandhi Bhawan Trust Bhopal, Anuj Dhar New Delhi and Major Gen (C) Gagandeep Bakshi will be honored with Amar Shahid Chandra Shekhar Azad National Award for the best achievements in the field of freedom struggle, patriotism and social service.

In the field of education, Maharshi Vedavas, will be honored with the National Award,  Shri Vishnu Vinay Mandir Bhavnagar, Prof. Ramesh Dave Bhopal, Gurukulam Hemchandracharya School Sabarmati will be honored.

For excellence in the field of social service, Maharaja Agrasen will be honored with the National Honor by the Surabhi Research Institute, Varanasi, Narayana Seva Institute, Udaipur, Lok Biradari Project, Hemalkasa and Central Chinmaya Mission Trust Mumbai.k
