Man Rolling Down A Highway With Wearable Suit Arrested Before He Gets Himself Killed

A man in China has been arrested after police caught him weaving through traffic in a custom-made roller suit.

Eye-popping footage shows the daredevil cruising along a Chinese highway, just feet away from other motorists and imminent death. An absent-minded driver could have easily run him over, potentially killing him or at the very least, leaving him with serious injuries. Local traffic police were called and quickly put a stop to these antics.

Following his arrest, the man proudly showed him his custom creation to the authorities. The suit, made up of various hard plastic elements attached with wheels, is battery-operated and was apparently inspired by the film CZ12. The man can control the speed of the wheels with a handheld remote control.

The man has been charged with violating China’s traffic laws and disturbing public order and authorities are still determining whether they will add further charges.

If he didn’t actually take to the streets with it, we’d say that this man’s handiwork has to be admired as creating a fully-functional roller suit like this cannot be easy. However, his choice of proving ground wasn’t as well thought out. Perhaps next time, he will take his contraptions to an abandoned parking lot or industrial park, rather than taking them out during rush-hour traffic.
