US, S.Korea discuss Peninsula denuclearization

The Democratic People's Republic of (DPRK) and the Republic of (South Korea) held senior-level talks on Monday at a border village of Panmunjom, and agreed to hold a summit in between the two nations' top leaders before the end of September.

South Korean Moon Jae-in and North Korean top leader signed the Declaration after their first summit meeting on April 27. Under the declaration, the two leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation and exchanges.
