It's two days in a row for Sue Munday, who is first again with the answer to today's Target word.

Have you got it yet? The letters are: E R N R O M U A T. Send your answers via email or Twitter. We'll print the solution tomorrow.

On the roads

  • There's been a crash on the Princes Freeway at Berwick. Emergency services are on the scene, near the Clyde Road overpass. Traffic has been slowed to 40km/h.
  • Another smash citybound on the Monash in Chadstone at Atkinson Street, near Warrigal Road.
  • A three-car crash on Glenferrie Road near Barkers Road in Hawthorn.
  • And reports of a rolled car at the intersection of Mt Dandenong Road and Dublin Road in Ringwood East.

CBD sex assault

In case you missed it earlier, a teen has been attacked in a terrifying sexual assault in the CBD.

The woman ran screaming from Flinders Lane about 2am on June 9 after a man dragged her behind high metal gates in an alleyway, locked the gates, then sexually asaulted her.

Police have released pictures of three men who helped the visibly distressed woman at Flinders Lane. None of the men are suspected of being involved in the attack.

Transport update

They're laying on the pastries this morning to celebrate the last day of bus replacements at Pakenham Station.

Woman buys human ashes from op shop

An American woman has uncovered an alarming find inside a decorative glass globe she bought from an op shop: human ashes.

The globe, which cost $US2 and had a printed prayer inside the glass dome, played the song "Amazing Grace" when a dial was turned. It also displayed a photo of a smiling woman.

Jeni's daughter posted the photo on Facebook.  The citizen sleuths got on the case and not only identified the woman, but returned her ashes to her family. Read more here.

Odd spot

A British repairman who couldn’t draw has found a new talent for painting after a stroke. ‘‘I remember waking up in hospital with this sudden urge to draw,’’ said Wayne Sheppard, whose paintings now sell for hundreds of pounds each. Experts say his stroke affected the parts of his brain associated with creativity.

Ditch junk food - for life

A confronting new exhibition featuring "plasticised" human bodies shows us the damage our lifestyles can do to us.

The exhibit at Melbourne Showgrounds features more than 150 dissected specimens taken from volunteers who have donated their bodies, including livers, kidneys and hearts. Most spectacular are several carefully skinned, preserved and posed humans.

See a heavy smoker's lungs or see a very literal version of the old adage, you are what you eat, courtesy of two bodies that have been sliced vertically down the middle. BODY WORLDS Vital runs until November 18.
