Nepal looking to new industries to alleviate poverty: Oli

K.P. Oli said on Tuesday that his government is weighing setting up new industries to alleviate poverty, end under-development and generate employment.

Oli made the remarks at a meeting with the business persons representing the and Industry.

He said should become prosperous by eliminating poverty, backwardness and under-development, reported.

Oli, who is also the of ruling Communist Party of Nepal, said this was a right time for people from all walks of social life to work together for the country's development.

"Now, I believe that we have enough capable workforces in the country which can contribute a lot for the country's socio-economic development," he said.
