Retd colonel held for ‘molesting’ neighbour in Noida

NOIDA: A retired Army colonel was arrested for allegedly molesting a woman in a Sector 29 park. The woman lives on the first floor while the accused lives on the ground floor of the same three-storey building. The woman said she was out on a morning walk in the park along with some other women.
“The accused reached there with three more persons. They started molesting me and passed derogatory remarks against my caste. He also tried to pull me away but I was saved by the other women,” she wrote in the complaint.

The woman alleged the accused had molested her in the past too.

Manish Saxena, SHO of Sector 20 police station, said a case has been registered against four persons. “We have arrested the colonel and are investigating the matter.”
