CM felicitates renowned cartoonists

Chief Minister Raman Singh felicitated renowned cartoonists of the country Vishnu Pandurang Akulwar and Manoj Kuril with Lifetime Achievement Award for their excellent contribution to the art of cartooning, on Saturday at a ‘Cartoon Festival’ held here.

In his address, the Chief Minister said that cartoon is a powerful art that brings awareness in the society.

He further said that Vishnu Pandurang Akulwar and Manoj Kuril have created their own identity through their cartooning.

In his address , senior journalist  Rahul Dev said that cartoon is like soul of a newspaper. Sarcastic approach of cartoon plays an important role in creating awareness in society.
