Bhopal: Police has chalked out traffic diversion for Independence Day programe. Main programme will be held at Motilal Stadium (Lal Parade Ground). Heavy vehicles will be prohibited in city at 6:00 in morning. Heavy vehicles plying on Indore, Raisen, Hoshangabad, will be allowed through Khajuri By-pass, Nai Jail, Anand Nagar, 11-Mill Square. Even entry of the permitted heavy vehicles will be prohibited till 12.00 noon.
As per the plan of diversion from 7:00am till completion of the programme, vehicles from Roshanpura to Bharat Talkies will be allowed through Banganga, Equarium, Khatlapura, PHQ Chowraha. Same routes will be for vehicles from Lilly Talkies to Roshanpura Square. Traffic from Jinsy to Sabban Square will be totally banned during the programme.
Vehicles plying from Bharat Talkies to TT Nagar, will be allowed through Aishbag, Pul-Bogda, Maida Mill, Board Office Square. Vehicles moving from TT Nagar to Bharat Talkies, will be allowed to Link Road-1, Board Office, Aishbag. Besides, red pass holders will be allowed through Satkar-Gate in front of Home Guard, blue pass holders will be allowed through gate in front of Police Petrol pump, while Green Card Holders will be allowed from ITI Gate.
Schools and college students vans and buses will be allowed through Gate-6(state garage). Common man (who does not hold any passes,) will be allowed through Prabhand-Gate. Red card holders can park their vehicle at “Aam-Bagia”. Blue card holders can park their vehicles at Volleyball ground. Green Card holders will park their vehicles at ITI ground.
