AutoComplete: Ford announces Ranger pricing, launches configurator

Here's what's making news on Road Show. Ford just launched a configurator with pricing for the newly resurrected Ranger pickup and frankly, we're liking what we're seeing. Prices for all available models start at under $30 grand, meaning that the Ranger will return to its rightful place as a pickup for the people. Ford has also opened its order books for the ranger so if you want one feel free to head down to your dealer and preorder one. Hertz has a long history of ordering special versions of fast cars to add to its rental fleet, dating way back to the Ford G53H models of the 1960s. It's at it again but this time it's reaching for the bow tie and commissioning 100 Hertz 100th anniversary Z06's. These models will all be fairly basic Z06 models without the Z07 package and will feature automatic transmissions and lots of yellow and black accents. These will be available to rent soon at 14 select Hertz Airport locations. Elon Musk has a willing reputation for saying and doing some wild stuff as CEO of Tesla. So much so that apparently the board of the company has formed a special tribunal in order to pre-vet any of Musk's crazy proposals. In particular, his highly publicized plan to take Tesla private .The Tribunal consists of Brad Buss, Robin Dinhome and Linda Johnson Rice.
