Raipur, Chhattisgarh Governor Balramji Das Tandon passed away here today after suffering a heart attack.He was 91.
Raj Bhavan sources said that the Governor suffered a heart attack this morning. He was admitted to the Government Ambedkar Hospital here. Hospital doctors and experts from outside were engaged to provide him immediate treatment.
Nonetheless, he could not be saved. Mr Tandon was facing health problems since quite some time. Chief Minister Raman Singh reached hospital and spoke to doctors. Later, he came out and informed media persons about the demise.
