George Koh: model stabbed rival to death following Instagram row
Londoner killed Harry Uzoka during showdown after becoming ‘obsessed’ with him

Harry Uzoka, 25, was stabbed to death in a London street in January
A London-based model has been found guilty of stabbing a rival to death following an argument over a woman on Instagram.
George Koh, 24, and two of his friends confronted Harry Uzoka, 25, who was stabbed in the heart, shoulder and back by Koh, The Independent reports.
The BBC says that Uzoka, who “was armed with a dumbbell bar” during the showdown, died from his wounds in the street outside his home in Shepherd’s Bush, west London.
Prosecutor Richard Horwell QC told the Old Bailey that Koh had “developed an obsession with Uzoka, a more successful model, to whom some said he bore a resemblance” and had repeatedly attempted to contact his friends, The Guardian reports.
The relationship took a darker turn “after Koh bragged to Paris-based model Annecetta Lafon that he had sex with Uzoka’s girlfriend, fellow model Ruby Campbell”, says the BBC.
The confrontation between the men had been prearranged on photo-sharing site Instagram, the court heard. Uzoka received a message from Koh on 11 January that said: “Where you I’ll come there n we can fight bring ur friends with u.”
Uzoka replied: “Come Shepherd’s Bush.”
Koh denied murder and claimed he had taken two knives with him because he was scared of being beaten up by Uzoka and his friends.
Koh’s friend Merse Dikanda, 24, was also found guilty of murder. Personal trainer Jonathan Okigbo, 24, was convicted of manslaughter for his role in the attack. All three men will be sentenced on 21 September.
