LUDHIANA: Ten days after the gruesome triple
murder in Kishor Nagar of Tajpur Road, the accused called up the victims' family on Monday and threatened to kill all of them.
Rajwinder Singh, 43, had hammered his cousin Gurwinder Kaur, 52, her granddaughter Mandeep Kaur, 8, and grandson Heetak, 6, to death on August 3. In the 30-second call, Rajwinder told Gurwinder's husband Davinder Singh that he was around them to complete his target.
Davinder said, "I, along with my three daughters, had gone to Ropar to visit the house of my wife's parents on Monday. Around 2.56pm, I received a call on my cellphone. The caller said, 'I am here... near your house and will soon complete my target'. On realising that the caller was Rajwinder, I replied that I am not afraid of him and that he should confront us. But he disconnected the call."
The family then informed the police.
