Gossner College notifies teaching posts

Gossner College will hold interview for contractual Assistant Professor posts on August 28 for Bangla, Mathematics, Antropology, Kurukh, Physics, Nagpuri, Mundari Economics and Kurukh subjects taught in undergraduation and post graduation levels. The panel will be valid for three years but appointment will be made for 11 months at a time and after a break of few days they will be reappointed subject to their satisfactory performance in the last 11 months, informed Principal SK Ecka. ‘Rurban Connect’ at DPS Ranchi

With an objective to promote the concept of growing safe organic food in gardens, DPS Ranchi conducted a programme called Rurban connect on its premises, in which students of Class V to class VII were taught about the benefits of organic food in today’s time. In this workshop, the experts gave demonstrations to the students on how to cook tasty food with safe food ingredients. The experts gave presentation on the development of nutrition garden to boys wherein girls were given demonstration as how to fulfill the nutrition gap.

SAIL, CET celebrates 37th Foundation Day

Centre for Engineering & Technology, the in-house consultant of Steel Authority of India Limited, celebrated its 37th foundation day. The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr G Vishwakarma, Director (Projects & Business Planning), SAIL.  While congratulating CET collective on the occasion, Dr. Vishwakarma showered his praise on CET having come a long way and contributing to growth of SAIL. Meeting on gender neutrality

The State Steering Committee of the State under the ‘It’s Possible Campaign’ of Phia Foundation today held and attended by representatives from civil society, media, academia and individuals. The SSC discussed the plan of action for the campaign and engaged in detailed discussion on how to make this campaign as efficient as possible. The heterogeneous mix of the State Steering Committee brought energy and innovation in the campaign, making it engaging and reflective. The Campaign will be implemented operationally in two districts in its first phase, namely Ranchi and Hazaribagh. The main target audience for the Campaign would be college students of the area, wherefrom the change makers for the campaign will be selected.
