Legal Awareness Camp organised

Legal Awareness Camps were organised on National Legal Services Authority’s (NALSA) schemes at several panchayats of Chas and Chandankiyari blocks if Bokaro district on Sunday. The camps were organised on the directive of Principal District and Session Judge cum Chairman of DLSA and under the supervision of Anand Mani Tripathi, informed the officials.

“Our aim is to make the rural mass aware about different laws and their rights; the people who are not getting the benefits under various government welfare schemes and laws due to lack of awareness and official apathy,” he added.

In the camps, legal information were given to rural mass about the mental and physical exploitation, Rights of a Scheduled Tribe, poverty alleviation, unorganised labour, Women’s rights, child labour, child marriage, Child protection, JJ Acts, Fundamental rights including others, said the official.
