Direct Patna-Guwahati flight from August 31

PATNA: Patna will have direct flight connectivity with Guwahati from August 31. The first direct flight on the Guwahati-Patna-Guwahati route will be operated by SpiceJet daily. It will depart for Guwahati at 9.55 from Patna.
Patna airport director Rajender Singh Lahauria said, "The proposal for Patna-Guwahati flight was approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation in July and the reservation of seats is expected to start from August 18," he said. "It will take less time and the passengers have to shell out less money compared to connecting flights," an official said.
