Just a week after the death of DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi, his eldest son MK Alagiri addressed the media after laying flowers at the burial site of his father.

Alagiri said, "All the cadre are with me, all the younger brothers of DMK are with me," while addressing the media. 

The DMK working council meeting is scheduled to happen tomorrow where MK Stalin is supposed to be elevated from working president to president of the DMK party, since M Karunanidhi is no more.

Alagiri's comments today seemed like a open rebellion against his brother MK Stalin.
