Vodafone rolls out unlimited calling plan at Rs 99
Telecom operator Vodafone last week introduced two new data heavy plans for its prepaid users. The company has now rolled out unlimited voice calls for its subscribers.

The service provider has introduced a plan for Rs 99 under which Vodafone prepaid users will be able to make unlimited local and STD calls. The voice only prepaid plan comes with the validity of 28 days and will only be available in the 4G telecom circles. Vodafone 3G users will not be able to benefit from it.

However, there is a catch: the company has set the daily FUP limit of making calls to 250 minutes and weekly FUP limit of a week is 1,000 minutes. In case users exhausts this limit then they will be charged for making extra calls.

With this plan, the company aims to take on Rs 98 plan of Reliance Jio. Under the Rs 98 plan Reliance Jio offers unlimited local and STD calling without any FUP limit. Along with this, users also get 2GB data and 300 SMS for the period of 28 days.

Apart from Reliance Jio, Airtel also offers a plan of Rs 99. Under the Airtel plan, the subscribers get 2GB data, 100 SMS per day and unlimited local and STD calling. The plan comes with the validity of 28 days.

Last week, Vodafone launched two new plans of Rs 549 and Rs 799. Under the Rs 549 plan, the service provider is offering 3.5GB data per day. Along with this, users can also enjoy unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for the period of 28 days under the Rs 549 plan.

On the other hand, under the Rs 799 plan, Vodafone users can enjoy unlimited calling with 4.5GB per day. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days and also allows users to send 100 SMS per day.
