ICAI holds meet on ‘Accounting Standards’

 The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) Bhubaneswar chapter to mark its golden jubilee year organised a seminar on “Indian Accounting Standards (IND-AS)” here on Sunday in which more than 150 cost and management accountants participated.

OPTCL Chief General Manager (Finance) and CFO Ramesh Chandra Mishra and Institute of Cost Accountants of India Regional Councils and Chapters Coordination Committee and Taxation Committee Council Member and Chairman Niranjan Mishra attended as guests. Nalco GM (Finance) Braja Kishore Dash delivered in detail on Indian Accounting Standards (valuation of inventories, property plant and equipment, accounting for lease, provisions, contingent liability and contingent assets and intangible assets) and clarified the queries of participants.

Among others, chapter Chairman Damodar Mishra, Secretary Tapas Ranjan Swain, Vice-Chairman Saktidhar Singh and Treasurer Himoj Mishra were present.
