Sexual assault victims brought to Bhopal for their statements

Four victim girls of sexual assault and harassment at deaf-dumb hostel in Awadhpuri area were brought to the state capital to record their statements on Sunday from Indore.

The accused Ashwini Sharma was confronted with the four victims in the state capital on Monday who were harassed by the accused.

Two of the four victims were sexually assaulted and two were molested by the accused.

On Sunday, four victims reached the SIT office in state capital and recorded their statements with the help of sign language expert.

The fourth victim who is from Dhar alleged that she faced sexual assault for long by the accused who came for pursuing ITI in the year 2017. She registered a case in Indore.

Police said that ATM card of the accused, documents, attendance register, documents related with the victims were seized.

Statements of Superintendent of Social Welfare Department Prabha Soni were recorded. The FSL team has inspected the spot minutely.

The victim was taken to the spot and with the help of sign language expert evidences were collected.

The SIT has started searching for 17 girls who were at the Ashwini Sharma’s hostel in Bhopal.

The victims have alleged that the accused used to confiscate their documents and would force to meet him even after completion of study. The SIT has started its investigation on 12 points. The accused is on police custody till Monday.

The videos, photographs and call details of the mobile phone of the accused have been investigated by the SIT.
