'Follow your passion. Follow it with dedication, determination and confidence. But passion is the key to success,” said Shatrughan Sinha, MP, former Union Minister and Bollywood actor to the hundred of students who had gathered at the ceremony for presenting the awards to winners of the ‘One MP One Idea’ programme here on Monday.
In a motivational speech, Mr. Sinha said he had become whatever he was today through self confidence and determination.
These qualities would bring the dedication to achieve what one is trying for.
However, it was the element of passion that would carry one forward in the journey, he added.
He said as a struggling actor in Mumbai where he had no relatives or gurus, it was his peers who gave him the courage. They had given him the mantra for success.
“In this competitive world, try to be better than the best. If you can’t be better than the best, then be different from the rest,” he said.
“This was the mantra that had taken him through the struggles,” he said.
