Over 99% students clear UP Board improvement exam

ALLAHABAD: At least 99.74% students of class X cleared the compartment and improvement exams, the results of which were declared by Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) here on Saturday.

A total of 11,557 students from across the states had registered for the exams, out of which only 10,053 appeared.

Eighty-five students had appeared for compartment exams, out of which only 76 were declared successful. The pass percentage was 89.41%.

At least 9,994 students had appeared for improving their performance in various subjects out of which only 9,977 cleared the exams.

Secretary, UPSEB, Neena Srivastava, said the results have been uploaded on the official website www.upmsp.edu.in and marksheet as well as certificate of students were being sent to district inspectors of schools (DIOSs) through board's regional offices.

The successful candidates are directed to immediately take admission in class XI. The principals should facilitate admissions in schools, said Srivastava.
