LUDHIANA: Days after the triple murder in Kishor Nagar of Tajpur Road, police have finally managed to get a clear picture of the accused Rajwinder Singh through some distant relatives of the accused. Importantly, cops have questioned more than 50 people so far, who were somehow connected with the accused.
In the brutal triple murder of Gurwinder Kaur (52), and her two grandchildren Mandeep Kaur (8), and Heetak (6), the accused Rajwinder made every possible effort of not leaving any ID proof and picture of him, which could give a lead to the police. So far, the police only had a CCTV grab, through which hardly anyone could recognise the accused.

According to information, the police got call details of Rajwinder, and relatives and friends of the victim’s family, who were questioned thoroughly. The police also approached distant relatives of the victims and the accused, and finally managed to get one picture of the accused.

Additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP-IV) Rajveer Singh Boparai said the police had finally got a picture of the triple murder accused, which was being circulated to trace the accused. Besides, police have so far no clue about the whereabouts of the accused.

Gurwinder’s husband Davinder Singh said: “Even we were trying our best to get at least one photo of Rajwinder. I asked every relative, friend, and area resident to share details and check if anyone had his picture. The main difficulty was that Rajwinder hardly attended any function, and always avoided getting clicked. However, now when the police have got his picture, we are hopeful he will soon be arrested,” he added.
