1 cop killed, 4 security personnel injured in encounter with militants in J-K

A was killed while four security forces personnel were injured during an encounter with militants in the Batmaloo area here today, police said.

Security forces launched a cordon and at Diyarwani in Batmaloo area of the city early morning following information about the presence of militants in the area, Central Kashmir Range (DIG) V K told reporters.
