Trader shot dead by three in UP's Azamgarh

VARANASI: A trader was shot dead by three unknown miscreants in broad daylight in Ahraula area of Azamgarh district on Saturday. Local traders downed their shutters and blocked the road in protest against the killing.

According to reports, Jitendra alias Nate (35) owned a sweets shop near bypass crossing. Three youths on a motorcycle went to his shop and ordered tea. After taking tea, they opened indiscriminate fire on him and fled from the scene.

Hearing gunshots, local residents rushed to the place and found Jitendra in a pool of blood.
