India vs England, Live Cricket Score, 2nd Test Day 4 at Lord's:
Live Cricket Score, India vs England, 2nd Test, Day 4: IND 107 & 13/1, trail ENG (396/7) by 276 runs. Hello and welcome to our Live coverage of the day four of the second Test between India and England at Lord's. With declaration on 396/7, Joe Root-led England finish their first innings in pole position. A brilliant show from the duo of Jonny Bairstow and Chris Woakes has given them a massive lead of 289. England were struggling in the initial phases. They had lost 2 wickets for only 32 on the board. A brief resistance from Root and Pope was also cut short but then the star pair got into the act. When you are struggling, sometimes the best way to get out of it is to be positive and attack. Woakes and Bairstow did just that and came out with flying colours. From a tricky position, they managed to not only to break the morale of the visitors but actually dominated them. Their 189-run stand took the game away from the tourists. Jonny Bairstow missed out on his ton yesterday but Chris Woakes continued on, smashed his maiden century and stole the limelight. For India, Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers. He bowled with intent and picked up three wickets but the rest of the bowlers largely struggled. The tourists are staring down the barrel, trailing by 289. Stay tuned for live cricket action from India's tour of England 2018. (LIVE SCORECARD) (LIVE STREAMING)(Click Here to Get Cricket Score Live Updates in Hindi)
INDIA VS ENGLAND 2ND TEST DAY 4 LIVE UPDATES FROM LONDON:
16.47 IST: Ajinkya Rahane strides out to bat. Virat Kohli was out of the field when India was bowling this morning and hence, he can't come to bat before 37 minutes pass away in this innings.
16.46 IST: OUT! Anderson removes Rahul for 10. Rahul's poor tour continues! It is all looking gloomy for India while England are reigning supreme under dark clouds. Fuller length ball around off, hits the deck and angles in sharply. Rahul shuffles a touch but falls over a touch in an attempt to flick it across. Misses and is hit flush in front of the stumps. India 107 & 13/2, trail England (396/7) by 276 runs at Lord's.
16.44 IST: 3 runs from the over. IND 13/1 in 6 overs.
16.37 IST: FOUR! Easy pickings! First real bad ball from Anderson and it has been put away. Full and down the leg side, Rahul flicks it towards fine leg. The man from deep backward square leg tries to cut it off but only comes second best.
16.32 IST: FOUR! Crisp! Full ball outside off, Rahul leans ahead and caresses it through covers to pick up his first boundary.
16.28 IST: Cheteshwar Pujara comes out to bat.
16.27 IST: With this, James Anderson completes 100 Test wickets at Lord's.

16.26 IST: OUT! Vijay goes back for a duck once again and it's no surprise to see Anderson celebrating. It is that man, Anderson again who has once again come to haunt India! After taking a fifer in the first innings, he has come out firing on all cylinders this time too. Bowls a fuller length ball in the tight off stump corridor and gets it to cut back in appreciably. Vijay comes forward tentatively to defend it but there is a big gap between his bat and pad. The ball takes the inside edge of his bat and carries through to Jonny Bairstow. Vijay bags a pair which also happens to be his first in Test matches. Jimmy jumps in delight along with his mates. This is his 550th Test wicket and also his 100th at Lord's. Holds the red cherry in his right hand and gets a standing ovation from the Lord's crowd. IND 0/1 in 2.2 overs.
16.23 IST: Now, a few umbrellas are coming up in the stands.
16.20 IST: Stuart Broad, surprisingly, will bowl from the other end. He was not at his best in the first innings. Perhaps Curran or Woakes would have been a better choice.
16.19 IST: England start with a maiden over. James Anderson to Murali Vijay, no run. The batsman chooses to leave the ball outside his off stump. A maiden to start but nowhere near as tight as Jimmy was in the first over of the first innings.
16.18 IST: 'It has started to drizzle', says Sourav Ganguly on air. Indian fans' hopes go up... In addition, Sanjay Manjrekar informs that Virat Kohli will not be able to bat till 37 minutes of play have passed as that was the time he spent in the dressing room last evening and this morning.
16.09 IST: England declare on 396/7, lead India (107) by 289 runs at Lord's. Woakes 137*, Pandya 3/66. Pandya strikes and there comes the declaration from Joe Root! Good length delivery around off, Curran backs away and goes after it but gets a top edge that flies towards third man. Shami stationed there pouches it safely. ENGLAND HAVE DECLARED ON 396/7!
Here comes the declaration from England. They lead by 289 runs and Woakes remains unbeaten on 137*.

16.08 IST: Hardik Pandya comes for a bowl.
16.05 IST: FOUR! Runs coming thick and fast for England! Fullish ball attacking the stumps, Chris throws the kitchen sink at it but gets an outside edge past the slip cordon. 15 from the over already.
16.03 IST: SIX! What a shot! Seemed like he had got beaten for pace but he still connected beautifully. Well-directed short ball on middle and off, Curran makes a bit of room and pulls it hard over mid-wicket. It is going, going and sails into the stands.
16.01 IST: FOUR! Well placed! Length ball on off, angling in. Curran backs away and places it through point. It has been timed well and the ball whistles away to the fence. England's lead moves to 276. ENG 383/6 in 87.1 overs.
15.54 IST: Nasser Hussain makes a good point on air. He says that he saw the Indians playing well on a minefield in South Africa and they responded quite well which shows that they are not flat-track bullies. However, they are under-prepared here and their technique hasn't been good.
15.51 IST: A slightly expensive over by Ishant. 11 runs from it and the lead reaches 267. Ishant Sharma to Chris Woakes, 1 run. Runs coming at will! Back of a length outside off, tapped towards the point region for a single.
15.49 IST: Third slip has been taken out.
15.48 IST: FOUR! Back-to-back boundaries! Length ball outside off, Woakes opens his bat-face at the last moment and glides it through backward point. Ashwin hares from it from point while Kuldeep moves to his right in the deep. The latter reaches it and tries to stop it with a slide. Seems to have done well. The umpires check for it. Well, the replays show that his back leg was touching the ropes while he had the ball in his hand.
15.46 IST: FOUR! EDGED BUT RUNS! Streaky runs but England won't mind it! The lead continues to swell. Pitched up ball outside off, Woakes goes for a full-blooded drive but gets a fat outside edge. Rahane at third slip dives to his right but the ball goes past him in a jiffy.
15.45 IST: Just two runs from the over. Mohammed Shami to Chris Woakes, no run. Beaten third time in a row! A man who is batting on 121 has no answers about these. Shows that when the conditions are overcast and the ball is moving, batting is a battle here. Similar length ball in the same channel, Chris tries to defend it but gets foxed again. ENG 364/6 in 84 overs.
15.36 IST: Ishant Sharma to bowl from the other end.
15.35 IST: Michael Atherton on air informs us that Virat Kohli has not taken the field. Says that he might be having a hamstring niggle and hence, he doesn't want to risk it. Strangely, he was suffering from a stiff back yesterday.
15.31 IST: FOUR! BYES! Starts off with a fullish ball well outside off, it swings further away. Curran shoulders his arms thorugh. Karthik moves to his left but gets beaten. ENG 361/6 in 81.1 overs.
15.29 IST: We are all set to go. The men concerned come out to the middle. There are some dark clouds hovering around and India will want to use them to their advantage. Chris Woakes comes out to bat along with Sam Curran.
15.15 IST: Sanjay Manjrekar is interviewing the man of the moment, Chris Woakes. The English all-rounder says that it is an amazing feeling to contribute to the team. Says that it was surreal to raise his bat after scoring a ton and raising his bat to the Lord's crowd. On being asked about batting at the No 7 position for the first time, he mentions that he came out with a positive mindset and it worked well for him. Adds that they were big shoes to fill in place of Moeen Ali and he praises his mate of being a great all-rounder. On being asked about Virat Kohli, he opines that he is a world-class batsman. Is happy that he got his wicket. Adds that he gets along well with Virat when he plays with him for Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. Reckons that with the weather being overcast, the ball will still move around. Ends by saying that they have to ensure that they are right on the money with the ball.
15.00 IST: Meanwhile, there was an interesting banter between Indian veterans Harbhajan Singh and Sachin Tendulkar regarding James Anderson's magical delivery to get rid of Murali Vijay during India's first innings at Lord's. Read more about it here.
14.55 IST: England are preparing for bowling in order to skittle India out cheaply and win the Test today itself. Will they really need Jos Buttler?
What do you make of @josbuttler’s off-spin action!? 🙈

14.50 IST: Reports from the ground suggest that there is a slight drizzle coming down at Lord's. Not great news for English fans at least. But you know who is enjoying a similar downpour of water? None other than Indian star MS Dhoni, that too in his hometown Ranchi! Here is how.
14.40 IST: Okay then! What is in store for today? Rain, rain and more rain, says the forecast - 92 per cent to be precise. India will certainly wish it to be a repeat of Day 1. England might declare as soon as the day begins. Or they might bat till the lead reaches 300, if possible so that the batsmen in the opposition are not fresh.
Hello and welcome to Day 4 of the 2nd Test.

14.30 IST: Hello and welcome to our Live coverage of day four of the second Test between India and England at Lord's. Stay tuned as we bring you all the latest updates.
Brief Preview: Bowling all-rounder Chris Woakes scored an unbeaten knock of 120 runs as England took a 250-run lead against India (107) on the third day of the second Test at Lord's, London, on Saturday. Scoring his maiden Test ton, Woakes became the 10th player to script his name on Lord's Honour Boards in both batting and bowling. England were 357 for six when bad light stopped play at the fag end of the exciting third day. Having come together shortly after lunch with England struggling at 131/5, Woakes (120 not out) and Jonny Bairstow (93) shared a match-changing stand of 189. The partnership has given England a good chance of moving into a 2-0 lead over India in the five-match series. The forecast of further rain over the final two days of the match appears to offer India's best chance of avoiding defeat. (READ FULL PREVIEW HERE)
