Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board has made it mandatory to chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ in the programs on all Waqf properties on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15. In the order issued by the Board on Saturday, it also warned that strict action would be taken if the order was not followed.

Shia Wakf Board Chairman Waseem Rizvi said, “Shia Wakf Board has issued an order in relation to August 15. In it, after the national anthem, it was mandatory to chant the slogan ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. This will apply in the programs to be held on all properties of the Waqf Board. Anyone who does not follow it, strict action will be taken against him. “

It was also stated in this order that following this order, the Caretaker and Managing Committee will be responsible. At the same time, the board chief also said that there was no problem with the Muslims in calling India as their motherland. He said that if people call India as Madar-Vatan, then there is no point in opposing the slogan of ‘Bharat Mata’s Jai’.
