Watch: MS Dhoni posts nostalgic video; speaks about the ‘good old memories’

Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been quite active on social media recently. In his latest post on Instagram, Dhoni has shared a video of him enjoying the waterfalls of Ranchi.

He posted the video with the message: “With 3 waterfalls around Ranchi, v cd do this whenever v wanted but now to do something like this after more than 10yrs brings back the good old memories. head massage for free”.

Having retired from Test cricket, Dhoni has been spending a lot of time with his family and has also been part of several promotional activities. He hopped across to the Tamil Nadu Premier League earlier this month and connected with the crowd with the promise of learning ‘better Tamil’ before the next Indian Premier League.

In a recent interview, he also cleared the air over his retirement speculations from One Day Internationals.

In the final ODI against England, Dhoni had asked the umpire for the match ball which kicked off speculations over his future. However, the former skipper put all the rumours to rest by saying that he wanted to show the ball to the bowling coach in order to understand why the bowlers could not get any reverse swing.

“(I took the ball) to see why we are not able to get enough reverse swing. Because we will be playing the World Cup in England, we have to (ensure) that we get reverse swing going. Because it is something that is very important. If the opposition is getting it, we should also get it, at some point or the other,” Dhoni told PTI.

He also spoke about the Indian team which is currently involved in a 5-match Test series in England and said that the biggest positive has been the form of the bowlers who have picked up 20 wickets. He further hoped that the batsmen start scoring runs in order to get results in their favour.
